BRITTANY WHYTE

Brittany Whyte is a music supervisor based in Altadena, California. Recent television projects include Pretty Little Liars: Summer School (HBO MAX), The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu), Riverdale (CW), Station 19 (ABC), and True Lies (CBS). Recent films include The Wrong Paris (Netflix), Fast Charlie (Vertical), Unfinished Business (Motto Films), White Hot: The Rise & Fall Of Abercrombie & Fitch (Netflix) and The Desperate Hour (Boies-Schiller).

Brittany got her start in music at the famous Tower Records on the Sunset Strip. There she met Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and became his ‘record detective’ for his popular daytime radio show, Jonesy’s Jukebox, on Indie 103.1. Helping Steve find rare glam rock gems and also providing him with UK bands that hadn’t broken onto the US scene yet, she quickly found that her passion was introducing people to music that hadn’t been discovered yet. From there she worked in A&R at Atlantic Records for 3 years.

In 2007, Brittany started her 13-year run with one of the most influential music supervisors of all time, Alexandra Patsavas, at Chop Shop Music Supervision. During those years, she helped to build the soundtracks for many successful films, including "The Twilight Saga," "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower," "Warm Bodies," "Remember Me," “A Better Life” and "Moxie." Additionally, she has worked on several TV shows such as "Mad Men", "Gossip Girl", "Scandal", "YOU", "Chuck", "AJ & The Queen", "Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina", "Grey’s Anatomy", "How To Get Away With Murder", "The Catch", "Private Practice", "Marvel: Runaways", "Sirens", and "Telenovela”.

Brittany grew up in San Diego, CA, where she spent her days playing sports and making mixtapes for friends. She graduated with honors from NYU and was a standout volleyball player, earning the Freshman Athlete of The Year award and Division III First-Team All-America. She is also an avid tennis and pickleball player. Brittany is the proud mom of two amazing kids, aged 11 and 8.
